Aren’t these baby owls precious? I’m not sure what their story is, but their names are Linford and Christie. I collect owls. Not real ones, just owl statues and trinkets. I keep them on my bookshelf. I guess real owls don’t mind resting on bookshelves.

I’m really stressing out about my first attempt at selling on ebay. I shipped a dress to a girl in Israel like two weeks ago and it still hasn’t gotten to her. And there’s no tracking available since I used first class international. What if it gets lost? What if she isn’t satisfied and she gives me negative feedback? Then my rating goes down and my dreams of opening a vintage clothing ebay shop are over. And then a bad ebay rating could effect my chances of getting into a good grad school or something. I swear the internet controls everything. All jokes aside, I’m really worried.
In other news, I’m really into daisies lately. I got the Jason Wu for Target daisy bag and I love it. I want to get more things with them on it. Daisies just make me think of spring and the 90s. Remember when Drew Barrymore was a wild child and wore daisies in her hair? I miss 90s Drew Barrymore.
Palease, someone in America. If you’re at Target and you happen to see this bag, buy it for me! I desperately want it!
I know Art would roll his eyes over the $28 price tag for one pack of gold-framed film (8 shots a pack), but I don’t care. Everything is better when it’s shiny and golden. I hope Santa delivers this year!

I really want this bag, but I can’t find it anywhere cheap. It’s a UK novelty bag I guess, so the price is ridiculously high along with shipping to the US. I found one on ebay for over $50 and this bag is not worth that much. As cute as those kittens are, the bag doesn’t exactly seem the best quality. I could buy a vintage Coach bag, which I’ve wanted forever, for that much. And Coach bags are real leather! Plus, you can’t wear a kitten tapestry bag with everything, so I’d only be carrying it around once in a while.
I’ve been searching for a good winter bag and the one I want really bad is a Cambridge satchel. I’ve wanted one ever since I was a little schoolgirl, but I’ve never been able to take the plunge. A vintage tan 13” satchel with my initials embossed on it is like $140, which isn’t that bad I guess. I really want a batchel, but it doesn’t seem to come in a size smaller than 15”, and I don’t want it to be too big. The regular satchel is cheaper anyways, but that handle at the top of the batchel just seems so useful to me.
I had another dream with a dalmatian in it!
Last night I had a dream where I walked into a room with dalmatian puppies in it. They were so adorable and I wanted to pet them, but I was too afraid. This probably has to do with the fact that I’ve heard dalmatians are the worst dogs to own. I’m not sure why, but to me that means they’ll bite your hand off, so I’ve always been scared of them. According to a dream dictionary I looked up, dalmatians in dreams mean you’re a “people pleaser”. I guess that’s true.
Now I want a dalmatian! I think it would force me to get out more and be active. I read that their puppy stages are the worst and half of the people who adopt one don’t keep them past the first year. Eeek! What the heck do these dogs do? Anyways, as much as I’ve been wanting a dog forever, I have three scraggly cats already that are a handful. If I can’t have a dog, then I want this dog sweater that speaks to me.
I’ve always liked , Cath Kidston but I really like her stuff now that I’ve visited the US website. Are you kidding me with all this floral print stuff?! It’s my dream come true! I want the sweater, but it’s a little steep. It doesn’t help that I want the floral version too.
Which one do I pick?!
Another obligatory post about Alexa Chung’s new collection for Madewell. In my eyes Alexa can do no wrong, but is anyone else not that impressed with the collection? The only thing I really wanted was the black and white gingham dress Tennessee Thomas is wearing above, but the Madewell at South Coast Plaza didn’t have it. And forget about getting it online. Even this dress is a little too simple for $136.
I was sort of interested in the leopard booties I kept seeing her wear in ads, but on the Madewell site they look kind of cheap. They’re sold out anyways. Don’t ask me why I want a pair of leopard booties when I’ve never worn leopard print in my life. Another pair I’ve had my eye on for quite some time is by Boden USA.

Boden USA leopard booties
Aren’t the Boden boots much better? They’ve got a wooden heel, cowboy stitching, and the print is more leopardy. I’m seriously considering getting these. They’re so unlike me, but Alexa makes leopard boots look so easy. I can just imagine bundling up with my black toggle coat, tights, and these beauties. Did I mention I already bought the exact same style of booties, but in black? Art is gonna be so annoyed if he sees another box in the mail, but winter is coming. I need black, brown, and now leopard boots for this season. But, I’ve also been eying these loafer heels from Madewell.
Madewell loafer heels
I tried on these heels at Madewell and they were so sturdy and comfortable. These shoes are much more me, but something is telling me to go for the leopard boots! What do you think?
